Today I tried out a new stamp set from the Occasions catalog called Lift Me Up. I’ve really been wanting to make a vintage card with Timeless Textures , so I combined the two since they work so well together.
I started with a very vanilla cardstock base of 4.25″x5.5″ and inked the edges with Sahara Sand and a stamp from Timeless Textures. I them created the other very vanilla background on a 3.75″x5″ piece. I sponged the edges to “age” it and rubbed my fingernail all the way around. I then layered it on a 4″x5″ price of crumb cake cardstock, which I also ran my fingernail around the edges. Added the very vanilla ribbon and attached to the card base.
The hot balloons are stamped in Cajun Craze and Always Artichoke. I used the thinlit from Birthday Banners to cut out my sentiment. All my peices are sponged on the edges with Sahara Sand before attaching. I used dimensionals to lift the balloons.
I hope you enjoyed this card! If you want to make your own, remember Sale-a-bration is happening now and you can earn free product.

CASE (Copy and Share Everything) this card:
Cut Very Vanilla Cardstock to 3″ x 4.25″. Stamp honeycomb background with Crushed Curry. Use Sweet Sugarplum to stamp flowers overtop. Then drag edges of paper across Pear Pizzazz ink pad. Use Designer Washi Tape to help attach to card.
Use the Big Shot to cut out a saying. The grateful saying is from Seasonal Frame Thinlits Dies, which is retiring and now on the Clearance Rack. I attached mine using a glue stick.
I was going for a simple card and then found I had an extra butterfly already pre-cut and decided to add it for extra fun with a dimensional. What do you think? Better with or without the butterfly?
